Landscapes III

2020

Statement

This series is a reflection of my experience being physically present in nature and observing its untouched purity. Through the formal placement of colors, I aim to convey the contrast between human presence and the raw, unaltered environment. Rather than depicting specific narratives or events, my focus is on the visual relationships that define these spaces—color, form, and energy.

While the colors on my canvas are selected by me, they are deeply influenced by nature itself. The reflections of mountains, the tones of open landscapes, and the organic harmony of the environment have shaped my perception of color over time. This work is not just about representing nature but about acknowledging its complexity and recognizing the need to preserve it.

The green of trees, the blue of water, and the yellow of leaves remain beyond our full understanding and reproduction. Through this series, I hope to evoke a sense of awareness—an invitation to see, rather than consume, the natural world before it is altered beyond recognition.
